Hello Readers,
Oh what a sensitive topic especially for us women lol. Well I can only speak for myself so again here is my take on the subject :) I was always tiny all my life except for my high school years, not a great time to be chubby lol. I remember my friends would go to the gym regularly, work out and diet. Observing them I realized how they drop the pounds and gain it right back as soon as they stop working out. That's when I decided that I'd never get my body use to crazy work out regimes. I lived through those years and so will you. If you want to loose weight, don't follow everyone else just do what's best for you and remember it is 70% of what you eat and only 30% exercise. When I started college and working, I started loosing weight pretty much effortlessly. My body was not use to much so the little bit of effort of taking long walks in the college campus & standing on feet at work pretty much did it for me. Since then I never had to worry about my weight. I could eat anything and everything all day and never weighed over 112 lbs. My weight fluctuated between 108-112 lbs.
When I got pregnant I made a mistake of continuing my habits and ended up gaining 50 lbs with my daughter. It is recommended not to gain more than 35 lbs during your first pregnancy and my OBGYN was concerned. Rightfully so, I ended up having a C-Section due to the size of the baby.
Thankfully shedding the pounds post delivery was not difficult for me. I shed most of it in the very first month. In about 3 months I had shed it all off, but then I realized that my body was very vulnerable to gaining weight at a faster rate than before pregnancy. So that first year post partum I was gaining & then trying to loose it again. It was a whole cycle. It made me realize that my body has changed and so now when I know I have to fit in a certain outfit for an occasion I watch what I eat for 2 wks and kinda let go at other times when I want to ;) My weight fluctuates from 112-116 lbs now.
